They started talking about digital nomads in 1997. Two nonconformists — Tsugio Makimoto and David Manners — declared that it was impossible to live like this any longer 😈 No need to sit still and turn gray. Work without an office now! And today millions of people call themselves nomads — their work consists of gazing at laptops, and somehow, they manage to get money. The main concern of all novice fighters in the nomadic field — how to receive money?

PayPal. One of the most widespread payment systems that has been used since the earliest times to pay freelancers. Until recently, it was not very convenient for the CIS countries, but if you work in Bali, Goa, or somewhere like that, then you won’t have any problems — the money can be easily transformed into different goodies.

Payoneer. These pioneers are well known to everyone who has given up home and now lives where he can find… where he wants. Unlike the previous payment system, everything is clear here — freelancers from the CIS countries have been using Payoneer for a long time.

An international card from a local bank. This is also an option, but much more uncertain. If you are working with an Australian customer, it is unlikely that he would dare to send money to an Aboriginal bank in Eastern Europe 😂 In addition, some Western banks do not allow such transactions.

An account in your… profile. If you find a customer on a specific platform, for example, Fiverr, then according to the conditions you will receive payments within the system. And this is where the fun begins 😒 Some platforms of this type pull out the commission with their teeth, leaving pennies on your wallet. Sometimes the commission is 20%, sometimes even more. Therefore, transfer the customer outside the system as soon as possible to keep the cache in your pocket.

For everything else, there is Onlife! 😉
