How About Moving to Silicon Valley?

Hewlett and Packard, Jobs and Wozniak, Mulder and Scully … Wow, wow, wow. That’s enough! We bet you’ve moved the screen away, stopped for a minute, and asked yourself — that the last two people did not have a super profitable startup in a garage! Or did they? 😅

Silicon Valley is just another name for the new Olympus. Modern Zeus and other influential guys are seated on San Mateo, Palo Alto, San Jose, and a dozen more hills. Fox Mulder and Dana Scully would probably get interested in such a place. One day, Onlife will film the sequel to X-files with the mysteries of the Silicon Valley. Especially mysterious subscribers are invited to the casting (but we’re not sure about this yet!) 😁

Until Olympus was settled by a simple guy from whom we are all waiting for a call, the area in the San Francisco Bay belonged to the U.S. Navy. What they did there remains an open question, but we all have theories. In the 50s, a student group at Stanford University gradually monopolized the modern territory of Silicon Valley. Profoundly gifted students loved to lock themselves up in garages working on simple naming. So there was an apple, a book of faces and Eureka! Yahoo! 😊

But in addition to the ingenious vegans with glasses (see the dictionary “Geniuses and Food”, chapter “Steve Jobs”) Silicon Valley is home to secret development centers of unknown things. The good old rule works flawlessly — if you want to hide, do it in a conspicuous place. On top of this, the fact that the largest offices of companies (Facebook, for example) that take part in the creation of our daily life, invite those who wish to take excursions, throws dust into eyes.

Unlike Mulder and Scully, we keep our suspicions to ourselves, since the dudes from Silicon Valley are loved and respected. In honor of the fact that Onlife works on the screen with an apple (see the naming story above), we will have a vegan dinner today. Join now!
