We all love to ride on a good highway with some nostalgic music on the max volume. And what about the highway at an altitude of more than 4000 meters? We present to you the Death Road in Bolivia — 70 km of a narrow path, or a challenge “Do not become a pancake”. It is said that every second survivor thought about writing an autobiography 😅
The Death Road connects La Paz and Coroico. Drivers here include Bolivians and those who want to feel the Kilimanjaro spirit moving along rather than up 😜
The width of the road is about 5 meters, that is, each step can be the last one and turn into a flight. The most interesting thing is that buses and trucks most often rush along the Death Road. We have not yet figured out why. Maybe to create a special atmosphere. Or there are simply not enough small cars in Bolivia.
