It has been a busy and exciting couple of months for the On Purpose crew. We’ve revamped our website and started recruitment for the next group of Associates. Along the way On Purpose has been selected as a Deloitte Social Innovation Pioneer. And, this weekend the 2012 Associates are off to Embercombe to learn more about themselves and each other as friends, colleagues and leaders.

No doubt the Associates will be finding out more about the interesting and varied career paths that have led them to On Purpose. Last week, our very own David Bartram told Escape the City about how he went from consultancy to crèche. Ed Shepherd has tread a similarly interesting path and told his story to Impact Generation earlier this year.

The 2012 Associates have also been busily writing for the Guardian Social Enterprise Network. So visit the Network if you want to learn more about what’s upmost in the mind of social enterprise leaders, such as the challenges of scaling up and finding a company’s inner social enterprise.
