“There is one art of which people should be masters, the art of reflection.” — Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Here’s what I’m looking for. Deeper thought.

Time flies, but it doesn’t fly as the crow does in a straight line from here to there. No, time flies the way a small child hurls through the day. Bouncing from one thing to the next and suddenly a decade is gone.

Why don’t we ponder more? About what things really mean, about things that are meaningful to us, about things that moved us deeply, if we stop to think about it. Why don’t we dig more? Not into the soil of the land but the soil of our own fertile minds. That’s what I want here.

I want posts that elevate the reader. Move people. How you do that it up to you. Maybe it’s pondering on something that happened to find a deeper meaning, maybe it’s seeing meaning in a small easily-overlooked thing. Maybe it’s pondering on human nature. Up to you.

Reflecting. On life. Not just remembering and relaying some linear event that happened. Digging. For meaning.

Strive to write a boost-quality post.
