The Definition of Your Success

I feel devastated, sometimes, when people reveal what success stands for in their minds.

From YouTuber subscribers count to daily blog visitors, a lot of us have created puny ponds to live forever.

Things get messier when it comes down to being original and aware of yourself. For example, the passion for something.

It surprises me that a lot of us haven’t figured out our passion yet. I believe that there are two mindsets:

1. Entrepreneurial Mindset

This mindset wants to work for themselves. They don’t look out for jobs. Instead, they dream to build a business and create jobs. They take the risk, fail, learn, and evolve.

2. Non-entrepreneurial Mindset

This mindset wants to work for others. They look out for jobs. They aren’t interested in doing entrepreneurial ventures. In short, they stay in their safe zone.

How to Define Your Success

Your success does have a connection with the happiness.

· Do you wake up and get excited to start your day?

· Do you leave the office desk feeling accomplished?

· Has anyone ever told you that “this would not have been possible with you”?

· Do you love talking about what you do?

· Are you committed to spending the next decade in the same field?

· Have you started building relations just because what you do?

· Has anyone told you “thank you” when you helped them?

· Do you have repeat customers?

Well, if all the answers are YES, then you don’t need someone else to define success for you. The reason is that you’ve already done it for yourself. By doing what you love. By sticking to what you started. By staying consistent. By being committed to the journey.

Congratulations.

Donna M. De Carolis says that entrepreneurship is a mindset, not a business model.

Forward this to a friend who has started something of his or her own, and you want them to stay in the process. Hustle. Work hard. And win.
