I made a $5 bet with a co-worker that BART was going to strike on Friday. I won. It gave us a reason to try Square Cash. I’m hooked. The process was simple and the experience was awesome. If you haven’t tried it- do it.

So here’s some free marketing advice b/c you made a cool product:

Step 1: Get a Square mascot (maybe someone with a Square hoodie on or something)

Step 2: Go to a busy street corner

Step 3: Start randomly giving strangers $20 via Square Cash

Video tape this from afar & up close. Record them using the product and their reactions. YouTube it. Put a promotion at the end that says:

Find the Square mascot and we will give the first person to stop him $20.

Repeat in any # of cities and maybe increase frequency. Send it to the press with the example headline:

Tech Company Giving Out Free Money In SF/NY/LA/etc

Costs besides labor:

$2000 — Free Money

$50 — Mascot Costume

$500? — Some high quality video production
