Why The iPhone X is NOT the Beginning of the End for Phones

A response argument to Owen Williams article from a photographers perspective.

The Phone is replacing the camera such as the DSLR as we know. The small. Cameras have already been a bonded in favor of a smartphone.

While I was watching the event, what really stuck me was that this together with AI and AR is part of the future of interconnected devices.

It is not so revolutionary by putting a cellular into a (smart)watch.

What really is getting revolutionary — if you take a perspective from a longer distance - is the notion that the type or category of the device such as phone, watch or tablet will be blurred and eventually be mended to a completely new device, necessarily not one attached to your body.

That’s is the future. And all sort of devices will be exactly that. And the Laptop or for sake the iPad are long from to be dead yet.
