Mike & Mike Show — OVERRATED

Sad to see this show is coming to an end this November (insert eye roll). Honestly, I used to tolerate (even somewhat enjoy) the show — listening to it on the morning drive to work every day. Then slowly but surely, it became more unbearable with Greenberg fan-boying every single guest and Golic giving his “player’s perspective” at every turn. Greeny is insufferable in my eyes because he always seems to try way too hard to be funny. In conclusion, I’m really going to miss their wild and edgy bets/wagers — now where will I turn to see Golic in a Bears jersey!?

Ballers (TV Show) — UNDERRATED

For a 30 minute show, it touches upon everything a guy could want — sports, hot chicks, and The Rock. The supporting cast, led by funnyman Rob Corddry, is very solid. It actually has some depth to it as well as a decent plot line. The Rock is convincing as a former NFL player turned agent and carries the load of the show with his charisma. If you’re looking to fill a half hour on a Sunday night and love football and/or The Rock, then Ballers is the perfect show for you.

New York City — OVERRATED

Yeah, I said it. Stuck up chicks. Tool-bag dudes. Overpriced drinks. Crowded, lame bars. Total rat race. Sure, this could be said for a lot of places. It just so happens that NYC checks all those boxes. The fact is that it doesn’t make a pimple on the ass of some great American cities such as Nashville or Las Vegas. Too much hype in my opinion and I ain’t buying it.

ESPN 30 for 30 — UNDERRATED

I have never seen a bad 30 for 30 even if it centered around soccer or an athlete that I despised. Seriously, every single one I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen just about all of them) were able to keep me hooked from start to finish. The content they provide is unparalleled whether it’s interviews with the athletes themselves or old footage. My personal favorite is The Best That Never Was, which highlights Marcus Dupree, the most famously recruited high school football player of his generation. Some of my other personal favorites include You Don’t Know Bo, Benji, and Unguarded. I know I’m not lighting the world on fire with this revelation but I felt the need to show some love to such a well-done series.

Chrissy Teigen — OVERRATED

The obsession and infatuation with her is mind-boggling to me. She’s not super hot, painfully unfunny, and tries way too hard on social media. That about sums it up for me when it comes to this “model/actress.”

Harrison Smith — UNDERRATED

If you read my NFL Network Top 100 Analysis, then you already know how I feel about this guy. Smith is the leader of the Vikings defense and has quietly become one of the top five safeties in the league. He can blitz, cover downfield, and make huge open-field tackles. Smith has every characteristic necessary for an elite NFL safety. Next time the Vikings are on national television do yourself a favor and focus in on #22.
