Are you a good partner?

Yes, you say firmly, to no-one. But then you remember snapping at your partner after he cooked dinner while you lay on the couch. AND you forgot to put the recycling bin out.

Nobody’s perfect, you mutter. “I’m good enough — and they (insert partner’s name here) are lucky to have me.”

Chances are, they are. Hopefully their relationship game means you’re lucky too.

There are no absolutes in relationships — nor in human psychology. And there’s no such thing as perfect. Humans are too full of contradictions and complexities for that to be possible.

But here are the signs you’ve got good skin in the game.
