Take the Test: Is Your Partner (Still) the One For You?
And — er — are you still the one for them?
Dinner’s done and you head for the couch.
Your partner is already there, waiting, sexily dressed in sweatpants and a stained sweater. Come to think about it, it’s remarkably similar to your own outfit — and to what you both wore the night before.
You reach for the remote, preparing to debate the Netflix options — and it strikes you: It’s same old, same old, every night. Is it healthy? Or should we shake it up?
It’s time to check in on the health of your relationship. And, don’t worry, you don’t have to get off the couch.
Take the test. There’s no need to score it. It’s just a prod at your comfort cushion.
“Having someone wonder where you are when you don’t come home at night is a very old human need.” — Margart Mead
1. How did you spend your weekday evenings?
Choose a typical working week, Monday to Thursday. Start from the time you got home or finished work for the day and go through till bedtime. Consider particularly what you did after the day’s chores were done. (Or sort of done).
