Introducing Kifi For Teams
Today, I’m thrilled to introduce Kifi for Teams, which adds new collaborative features to the Kifi service. Kifi for Teams will help your team save time and be more productive. Kifi for Teams pulls in knowledge from the web, making it available for workplace teams. As always, we are a free service that now offers premium features for business, including access control and integration with Slack. If you are the administrator, chose what level of control and sharing govern the team.
The key — and the reason 90,000 people and 100 teams from around the globe have already discovered us — is our web-centric approach to knowledge management.
Instead of managing team knowledge around document files, role-specific tasks and team chat, Kifi brings in a new type of increasingly important knowledge that is anchored to content on the open Web. The Kifi service lets employees “Keep” Web pages in “Libraries” that are public or private to the team and add valuable context, including conversations, ideas and questions, right alongside the web page. With full-text indexing, Kifi makes it easy to find any Web resource that has been kept by the team.
Kifi is meant to be seamless & dependable. We built Kifi for Teams to help small teams, like ours, collaborate, be successful and productive. That’s why we made the collaborative features easy to use — “I just know it will work,” one of our users said. We don’t want you to lose time or knowledge anymore because of the complexity of your knowledge management service.
Kifi for Teams New Features
- Easy Collaboration. Create a Library of web pages relevant to on-boarding, research, validation, reference or decision-making and allow team members to add to the knowledge base. Updates are available in real-time as changes are made by any member of the team.
- Slack Integration. Any web page you save in a Kifi Library can be automatically posted to the Slack channel of your choice.
- On-Page Chat. Share a web page with your whole team with the click of a button. You can also have a group chat with your entire team, in context on the page.
- Full-text Search. Everything your team members keep from the web is easily found in a Google search using the Kifi browser extensions, or in a Kifi mobile app.
