We updated our employment contract templates.

When we started Onboardly, we had a simple yet effective template that covered the necessary clauses for hiring new employees. These clauses ensured that employees onboarded via Onboardly didn’t need to worry about issues such as compensation, scope of work, and privacy.

Now, we’ve added more legal clauses to give you a robust template for closing new hires at competitive rates.

Because we understand that employee satisfaction is key, we met with legal experts to review key clauses included in employment contracts across different countries and jurisdictions. This gave us insight into vital clauses that may have not been added to our default template.

While the previous employee contract template was succinct, the improved version includes clauses on warranties, termination of contracts, intellectual property, and more.

This update affects companies that use Onboardly’s default template for processing employment contracts. You don’t have to worry if your company uses a custom template independent of Onboardly’s provision.

The new template is effective from Monday, 26th September 2022 (today).

Note:

Contract offers that were previously signed and processed remain unaffected. However, if you’ve recently created an offer letter with Onboardly’s template, without signing it, the offer letter will reflect the changes.

We encourage you to review the updated template before proceeding with any new offers. If you have any questions, hit reply, and we’ll be happy to help.
