02. Canvas, RGBa, and HEX Code Aug 3, 2014 — Since I watched talk by NSAS’s data visualizer Robert Simmon at OpenVis Conf few months ago, I’ve been thinking of project to deal with color space. In his talk, he references John Nelson’s research about color semantics of a word. Nelson did google image search of a single word like “fresh” and processed the screenshot of google image search to extract average color using Fireworks.
