If you follow any Step Out Buffalo’s social media pages, you are fully aware of it’s strong online presence. With over 54,000 followers on Instagram engaging with over 3,700 posts, Creative Marketing Director Lauren Spoth is largely responsible for the digital magazine’s success online.

With revenue largely generated through advertising, the brand is a 21st century success story that’s signature style sets it apart from any competition. Spoth, the voice behind much of their online content, has a career that proves her organic methods to be successful. After being laid off from her previous employer, Spoth was eager to prove that her personable style and point-of-view (a style that was ignored by the company) was what would grab the attention that modern day companies are searching for online.

Right she was, as she has helped organically grow Step Out Buffalo into the local juggernaut it is today with that infamous style and perspective. Treating the company’s social media page as if it is a buddy at an Allentown bar, Spoth cites the specificity of how the content is shared as one of the most integral parts of her overall process.

Her success with the digital magazine has led to success in other areas, most notably to Spoth’s own entrepreneurial initiative called The Buffalo Creative — a company offering social media management to influencers, brands and companies.
