Herding Young Lions

From Toronto to Cannes. We’re hunting for Gold.

Had a kick-off lunch here at One for our Young Lions. It was a crash course in all thing Cannes over sandwiches. The group included Steven Tiao, Carol Hung, Justin Luu, Bobby Martiniello and Emma Quiroz. Gillian Graham from the ICA was also on hand to offer advice, as was Amy Jacobs, one of our young writers who has competed in Cannes twice. I’m hoping our advice encouraged them as opposed to striking terror in their hearts.

My observation? We’ve got a solid team going over this year. They were exactly the right balance of curious, nervous and ruthless. A winning trifecta in my books. So here’s to hoping the herd bags some metal. Stay tuned.
