As a new instance of life in a procedurally-generated universe

The first time I entered into the No Man’s Sky universe, it was like being born into a new world. A crashed ship, an alien landscape — the newness and the mystery of what happened before this new instance of life, it evoked a sense of waking up anew. It is like being resleeved* and this sub version of ‘me’ is now on its own adventure in a new world.

*resleeved = in Eclipse Phase, it means giving a new body to an ego.
