WHAT IS QUANTUM, IN SIMPLE LANGUAGE
It’s #ENDGAME everywhere!!! No spoiler but we think the power to fight with Thanos is the Quantum theory! Hence, it’s the right time to go through a bit basic things about Quantum before watching the movie.
- QUANTUM UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS
Quantum has two unique skills: bilocation (superposition) and entanglement.
Quantum superposition: This is the idea that objects can be in two states at once. And that, in turn, opens the way to much more accurate sensors and navigation systems.
Quantum entanglement: This is the principle that two atoms can still be connected, or entangled, after they have been separated. And if you change one of them, you affect the properties of both. This is the basic idea behind quantum encryption, the technology that will usher in a new era of truly secret, secure communication.
2. WHAT IS QUANTUM COMPUTER?
Quantum’s superposition and entanglement are a game-changer when applying to quantum computer. You can get the entire lot of calculations that are possible all done at the same time and this can be exponentially more efficient than would ever be possible on a normal computer. Extremely complex calculations may take a standard computer up to 150.000 years to solve, but using quantum computer this can be done in a few seconds(!)
Quantum computing creates totally NEW possibilities and ways to approach problems that classical computers have difficulty doing. They provide a new way of simulating and testing the workings of quantum theory, with implications from chemistry, biochemistry, nanotechnology, drug design to search engine optimization for internet searches, management of other types of big data, routing and manufacturing processes, and beyond.

3. THE ROLE OF QUANTUM COMPUTING TO TECHNOLOGY MOVEMENT
Quantum computing could create jobs for the next generation, cure diseases, and above all else — make our nations stronger and safer.
