The acquisition of wisdom should be your primary goal in life. At least that’s what King Solomon said about 3000 years ago: “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7, KJV)

Sadly, many people throw too much of their precious time away to addictions, excess entertainment, or frivolous living. And others waste too much time and energy wallowing in negative emotions like worry, bitterness, or despair.

According to Solomon, we should dedicate ourselves to personal and spiritual growth, including the accumulation of greater knowledge and wisdom.

Never stop learning.
