Those who desire wisdom will increase their learning and seek out qualified counselors and mentors. That’s according to King Solomon, the principal author of the biblical book of Proverbs. Here are his words: “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.” (Proverbs 1:5, KJV)
Too many people today go through life aimlessly — throwing away too much time and energy to addictions, excess entertainment, or frivolous living. or wasting away in bitterness, anger, worry, or despair.
Those with wisdom — or those we might say have common sense, emotional intelligence, or greater awareness of responsibilities and opportunities — these people appreciate the importance of LEARNING.
They are lifelong learners. They seek out information and wisdom from others — through reading, listening, coaching, and developing positive, helpful relationships.
Be such a person.
Be wise.
