Indifferent! Other than being wholly absorbed in his own image and gratification, his unquestioned perch as the self-proclaimed biggest achiever in-the-history-of-the-world, Trump is a rock of indifference. Little — nothing — matters to him — certainly not healthcare — other than his image, its emperor’s glory in the looking glass.

That image is the magic thinking of a blind mule. He is leading the team.

Policy is becoming a vehicle for national theft, by thieves-in-waiting who requisition Air Force jets for telephones and to inspect the gold in Fort Knox, escorted by a wife draped in designer labels worth more than a year’s salary to a worker in West Virginia or South Carolina. Indifference is the prelude and postlude to moral shame, by mortals who worship the idols of wealth and power. They rule to the sound of their own praise — the kinds Trump received from his cabinet and from pastors who laid their hands on him in praise.

Trump’s indifference is the lie of the mask. No prayers were offered for the health of the nation!

Remember this quote from Octavia Butler posted by MSNBC’s Joy Reid on twitter:

To be led by a coward is to be controlled by all the coward fears.
To be led by a fool is to be led by the opportunists who control the fool.
To be led by a thief is to offer up your most precious treasures to be stolen.
To be led by a liar is to asked to be told lies.
To be led by a tyrant is to sell yourself and those you love into slavery.
