A Simple Way You Can Produce More Content (Even if You’re a Beginner)
Any writer can do this.
Ever feel like no matter how hard you try, you can’t produce as much content as you would like to?
I know the feeling. I know what it’s like.
You’re sitting on your couch with a notebook and a blank page.
You were raring to go at it first thing in the morning. You told yourself you were going to get an article written and published today. (Or at least written).
You have the whole day to yourself. So, you figure you’ll be able to pump out some content. But you just stare at the page. And suddenly, you get busy. You have to do the dishes. Or the laundry. You get distracted somehow. You start scrolling on your phone. And that can go on for hours.
What happens?
You end up not getting any content written at all. You just stare blankly, telling yourself you’ll do it tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, and it’s the same thing all over again.
Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion. — Parkinson’s Law
You can’t figure out why you can’t get anything done when you have the whole day to yourself.
