I’m Learning What it Takes to be in the Top 2 % of Writers Who Don’t Quit

--

I’ve found one principle to be key.

Ninety-eight percent of writers will quit.

I want to be part of the two percent that doesn’t quit.

I’m now learning the skills needed to accomplish this. I’m also learning there are certain qualities you need to embrace along the way.

Consistency is one of the most important ingredients to success.

But one quality most writers miss is this: Patience

Patience is not just a virtue. It’s an utter necessity for writers.

Most writers write for a while and then quit because they aren’t gaining any traction. What they don’t understand is that it takes time.

It Takes Time

It’s like growing a flower.

Your articles are the seeds. And your consistency is the fertilizer.

Every article you write is like planting a seed. You might not see anything for a while. But eventually you will start to see it sprout.

If you keep doing both, your writing will blossom. You will start to see results.

Lessons I’m Learning that will Keep Me in the Two Percent
