Time flies… I can't believe it has already been more than a month since my last update.

Even though I'm running behind the schedule, I'm very (VERY) excited about this post. Why? I recorded the very first episode of the Startup Grind Global Knowledge Podcast last week Friday with the one and only, my friend, Adam Muniz — Chapter Director of Startup Grind New Haven.

The full episode (around 1 hour in length) is still in the making — editing is always the hardest part for me as, unfortunately, I'm not a professional audio maker yet — but I can share with you a short teaser. Check it out:

Do you like it? Would you like to hear the whole thing? I hope you DO and WOULD. As much as I don't want to, it will take a little bit more time before the entire podcast can go live. Here is the agenda for the upcoming weeks:

1) Record at least 3 to 5 more interviews with Startup Grind Directors

The goal is to have a bi-weekly podcast. To ensure consistency, I have to create a comfortable [buffer].

2) Figure out the perfect name for the podcast

Actually… you could help me with this one. What do you think about Startup Grind Global Knowledge Podcast? Does it make sense? Isn't too long? Do you have any better ideas/suggestions? If so, please, do share them with me! smejkal.jn@gmail.com — that's where you can find me.

3) Set up appropriate social media accounts

I'll start with Twitter & Facebook. KISS (Keep It Stupid Simple), right?

4) Build a simple, but [kick-ass] website

Square Space is THE place to go.

The second part of the post is dedicated to equipment & software I use to make all of this happen. In case you'd like to start podcasting as well, this will save you some time. So, without further ado, here you go:

1/ Microphone — ATR2100-USB (audio-technica)

Quality/price ratio of this mic is very high. Even Adam said the sound during our Skype was incredibly clear.

2/ Call recording software — Call Recorder (ecamm)

The full version is priced at $29.95 (one-time purchase with lifetime free updates), works very well and the basic setup isn't difficult at all. Highly recommended.

3/ Post-production software — Audacity & Garage Band (Apple)

Audacity is an open-source software available for MAC, Windows and Linux. Garage Band cost $4.99 (includes both MAC and iOS versions) and was recommended to me by the behind-the-scenes star of the #AskGaryVee Show, the video guru — DRock!

And that's it, at least for now. And don't forget, always keep hustling!

As always, give this article a 💚 recommend if you enjoyed it, and follow One Side Project Challenge for my future updates and other inspiring side projects.
