Slap #041: Playing Small Doesn’t Make You Safe

--

It just makes you invisible to the life you want.

The stage is waiting. Where are you?

You shrink your goals.
Mute your opinions.
Edit your presence until it barely exists.

You think you’re avoiding judgment.
You’re just guaranteeing regret.

Hiding isn’t humility. It is fear wearing a name tag.

You say you’re “being realistic.”
But realism that costs you visibility isn’t realism.
It’s surrender.

Playing small doesn’t protect you.
It just prevents people from ever seeing what you’re capable of.

You are not built to be background noise.

Step forward.
Speak louder.
Make the thing.
Be bad at it publicly.
Grow anyway.

No one claps for potential they can’t see.

Hope this one struck (pun always intended) a chord as well. Sing.
Until tomorrow.

Where are you still hiding in plain sight, and calling it strategy?
