Life is spiraling out of control for Carmelo. He’s a shell of the NBA player that he once was. His friends are leaving him off the Banana Boat. His boss, Phil, doesn’t want him anymore. And now, he is getting a divorce with the woman that he loved.

Everything isn’t all sunshines and rainbows for Carmelo so it’s time to move somewhere filled with sunshines and rainbows, Miami.

Why Miami?

Miami is a place where people move to when they are looking for a change.

Miami is a place where people move to when they are single and ready to mingle.

Miami is a place where New Yorkers move after they get sick of the city.

It’s not just the city that makes Miami a perfect landing spot for Melo.

Much like the city it represents, the Heat franchise has built a reputation as a destination for talented players who have either fallen on hard times or are looking to be revitalized to the best form of themselves.

The revitalization success stories under Pat Riley’s tenure are seemingly endless and Carmelo would be the final triumph of his illustrious career.

As far as Carmelo is concerned, he needs to feel young again and the best way to make an older “whale” young again is by surrouding them with young sharks.

Well Carmelo, here are those sharks.

If you liked this blog, I would greatly appreciate if you could hit the heart button!
