Domino’s India Should Be Ashamed Of Its New BurgerPizza

Smart Cooky — Domino’s India is set to introduce yet another confused hybrid in the world of fast food. Love cheesy pizzas? Can’t resist a sinful burger? Here’s the solution — have a burger pizza instead. What makes it unique, is that it won’t have a patty, like all burgers. Instead, it will have a filling, much like toppings on a loaded pizza.

“Looks like a burger, tastes like a pizza,” reads Domino’s India’s Facebook page, announcing the new dish.

Of all the places to develop this beauty, why India?! The idea is fantastic. The execution is shameful.

Dominos, how can you call this item a BURGERpizza when it has no patty or no beef. The definition of hamburger requires a patty.

So when you say it looks like a burger, what does that even mean? Just because it has 2 buns in a circular form, that doesn’t allow you to trick people into believing they are about to eat a burger.
