The Seattle Seahawks are an elite NFL franchise and as such, they know how to get the most out of their players. When signing former Green Bay Packers running back, Eddie Lacy, they added in a clause to his contract which rewards Lacy with a $385,000 bonus for maintaining a certain weight.

Well played, Pete Carroll!

Eddie Lacy is a big, tough , strong football player who’s biggest opponent in his career has been the scale.

But it’s not his fault.

Lacy went to school in Alabama, a state which doesn’t believe in healthy food.

Then Lacy moved to Green Bay, a town which requires it’s citizens to drown the sadness of living in Green Bay by eating high-caloric foods.

Getting Eddie Lacy out of Green Bay was the best thing possible for his career and his long-term health. A couple more years with trips to Brett Favre Steakhouse and he would give B.J Raji a r̶u̶n̶ walk for his money.

Now, Lacy gets to live in Seattle — a city which is filled with nothing but healthy food and active caffeine-fueled citizens. No biscuits-n-gravy. No deep fried cheese curds.

No excuses.

Seattle, you lost #BeastMode, but now enter #FeastMode.
