(WNDU) — New Notre Dame defensive coordinator Greg Hudson is finding unique ways to lighten the mood around the Notre Dame defense.

On Wednesday during a team meeting for the defense, Hudson decided to play a video of pro wrestler Ric Flair.

“I think sometimes when you go to school all day and you have four classes and you are at Notre Dame — -a really hard school — -it’s hard to leave class at the door and focus in on football,” defensive lineman Isaac Rochell says. “I think pulling up a video of Ric Flair doing what Ric Flair does is the mediator between school and football. You laugh and then it’s like let’s lock into football. So in a weird way it works.”

Greg Hudson is one hell of a smart coach. He knows that college football isn’t about coaching or schemes, it’s about heart and passion.

And NOBODY pumps you up more than Ric Flair.

It’s a Stone Cold fact that no college football team that has gotten an inspirational speech before a game has ever lost.

Last year, the Northern Illinois football team used Ric Flair as a motivational speaker before their first game of the season…..

And to no surprise, they won…

So you know Greg Hudson is going to be playing the “best of Ric Flair” videos before they run out of the tunnel this weekend against NC State.

Therefore, I guarantee Notre Dame’s defense plays light out and has their best game of the season.

So if you are smart like me, HAMMER Notre Dame +1.5.

Not worried at all.

And Saturday night you will be going around town saying….

If you love Ric Flair, please click the💚 below!
