Please Let Greg Hardy Be A MMA Fighter

The sport needs a villain

Greg Hardy has decided to put his football career on hold and pursue being a MMA fighter.

Everyone, including Jay Glazer, wants MMA to not allow Greg Hardy to compete because of his scumbag past.

I disagree entirely.

Why?

Because it’s a win-win scenario for America.

At some point, Hardy is going to get his ass whooped and that will be a sight to see. The big bad wolf getting dropped to his knees will be the ultimate form of karma.

But more importantly, Greg Hardy competing in MMA fights finally gives us the ultimate villain to root against.

The biggest problem with UFC/Boxing/MMA matches these days is people don’t care who wins. When the public has no connection to the fighters, nobody has a dog in the fight and therefore, people don’t care.

However, all of this changes if Greg Hardy is competing….

Put Hardy in a PPV fight and citizens around the country will come together to cheer against him as if he’s the Soviet Union in the 1980 Winter Olympics.

Somebody get Dana White on line 1 and let’s get Greg Hardy into the UFC STAT.
