Tom Brady recently revealed in a NY Magazine article that he has never had a cup of coffee or eaten a single strawberry in his life.

Do I believe Tom?

Legally, yes.

Practically, no.

Why? Because Tom Brady is the KING of semantics.

Did Tom say he has never tried coffee? No. He specifically said he has never had a “cup of coffee.”

A cup of coffee is completely subjective and arbitrary. It could mean he has never ordered a cup of coffee. It could mean he has never finished a cup of coffee. The semantics king strikes again.

Onto the strawberry claim….

Yes, never having had a single strawberry is bizarre, but I am sure Tom has had plenty of other strawberry products. You know he’s had strawberry jam, strawberry ice cream and anything else strawberry-related that is technically not a single strawberry.

Overall, this type of stellar-semantic work just shows how great Brady was at side stepping the Deflategate story with half-truths and half-lies for 2 years.
