His journey

Steve Jobs started his journey in life at an early age of 17, when he dropped out of Reed College. At that time, his parents, Joanne and Paul Jobs, were in financial trouble. He was the only child of the couple, and his mother’s sister, Mabel Hubbard, was his only source of support. She had a habit of telling him stories of a young girl called Jane, who had a fascination with electronics. According to Steve Jobs, it was his love for Jane that motivated him to study electronics at the University of California, Berkeley, and get a degree in electrical engineering. At the age of 17, he was just another student of the University of California, Berkeley. He worked hard to gain admittance to the university, but he had to work and pay his own way. After graduation, he moved to San Francisco where he started working at he Semiconductor Laboratory at Hewlett-Packard (HP). The company was known for developing the first mass-produced colour computer, the HP3000.
