Park Workouts for #DiscoverYourWild

B: A planned this amazing workout around High Park for #DiscoverYourWild. It involved us running around the park and doing pushups at every wall and dips at every bench — there were a lot of dips.
It was cold out and I was feeling really agitated for some reason. A was in high spirits and I really didn’t want to bring her down. I tried to be positive before the workout. Once we started my spirits started to raise. I really love how workouts can do this. I also love how creative A can be with outdoor activities.
A: There were so many more park benches than I thought!! I love moments when you are caught off guard by something that’s been there the whole time. Who knew a PARK would have so many BENCHES! I always feel Christie Pits isn’t taken enough advantage of, especially in the winter. Living next to it, I try to go as often as I can, and I feel others just ignore it because we’re often the only ones there. It’s so strange to me. Parks are so lovely, I wish I could live in one.
