Thoughts:

I’m not in the mood today for writing, but I know that interest doesn’t come by doing nothing and that I need to take the initiative.

So let’s consider the idea that, like Alan Watts said, you are utterly and completely selfish, that everything you do is for your own benefit, that you are seeking your own advantage and to fulfill your physical and spirituals needs. But you see take it to extreme this idea it becomes something good, because all of us are searching for feeling more alive, wanting to feel good about ourselves, to love and to take care of ourselves in a proper way, many don’t, to want more form our lives, to strive for better (while you are grateful for what you have). So as you can see selfishness goes hand in hand with greediness, but greed is the engine for progress. Considering this many peoples should me more selfish and greedy, what I mean I striving for a better health (mind & body), relationships, finances and a more profound way of experiencing life in general. Even bad behaviors can have a good usage if are directed right, for example: addiction to reading, rage to bad and unethical behavior, fear of unfulfilled potential etc. Therefore is more important how you chose to use these tools, and what you are looking for, because what you look for you will find. If you want to find reasons why you can’t you will surely find them and a lot, but also if you want to find solutions instead of excuses you will get them. So is about how you train your mind to search, you are seeing the good in any bad or vice versa and are you looking for solutions or excuses.
