Hard Work Is Not Enough to Get Ahead in Life

I stopped relying on my hard work

I made my grandfather proud, but deep down, I still feel a sense of disappointment.

“Work hard, son.” These were my grandfather's last words to me. Unfortunately, he passed away few days after these words, and he would be disappointed to know that hard work is not enough anymore.
