Video games are an escape. It’s part of why I spent so much time playing them as I grew up. They allowed me to get away from my less than amazing childhood. Between video games, books, and constant daydreaming I was able to escape what could often be a miserable time.
Things got better but my love for all of those things never left me. They’re enjoyable in their own right but their ability to transport you to amazing worlds? Fantastic!
So, if you’re ever wondering why somebody is always buried in their video games, you might have an idea why now. They might just be enjoying fantastic worlds, as many do. They might also be escaping from their life for a little while.
As long as they keep living their life, there’s nothing wrong with that.
