Overview of Participating Projects in the 2024 Polkadot Hackathon: Who Will Secure Their Spot for the Final Demo Day?

The 2024 Polkadot Hackathon, jointly organized by the OneBlock+ community and Polkadot, is now open for registrations! Since the launch of the competition, it has garnered significant attention and participation from developers worldwide, with the Singapore site’s project submissions closing just yesterday! A total of 279 developers from around the world have formed 69 teams, embarking on their development journey. Ultimately, 34 projects successfully submitted their preliminary entries on time.
The innovative ideas of the participating projects cover a wide range of themes, including Web3 infrastructure, smart development tools, Layer2 solutions, DApp product applications, NFT creation platforms, and more. Let’s look forward to seeing which teams can break through the preliminary round and deliver impressive project presentations during the final Demo Day! Meanwhile, to help the teams better prepare for the finals, the organizers have arranged a Pre-Demo online live event. Through project presentations and Q&A sessions with judges, contestants can warm up and increase their chances of winning the top honors.
The Singapore and Bangkok sites officially kicked off on July 11, with the Demo Day in Singapore set for September 17 and in Bangkok on November 16 (code submission deadline: October 23, 12:00 PM UTC+8).

All developers actively participating in the 2024 Polkadot Hackathon (Singapore site) should note that after the preliminary project submission, the expert jury will conduct a 3-day project review and scoring (August 28 — August 30), with the final verified list of advancing projects announced on September 3! The advancement list will be pushed through the OneBlock+ official account, so please stay tuned!
Teams that receive advancement information should actively prepare for the final Demo Day in Singapore on September 16–17 and make the final sprint for the highest honors!
