Café Central

Have you ever wondered what is so common about the name “Cafe Central” that you end up finding at least one in every city you might have every visited. Cafe Central first came in Vienna in a very prominent location that it served as a place for meetings which made it a convenient location for people to come and go. Probably, this is the reason why most cafe owners choose this clichéd name or they are just do lazy.
Basic people cannot do extraordinary stuff, but this cafe with a basic name does.

They might have a reason to worry with coffee central, similar names, placed not very far. Located at a venue where restaurants come and go, lets see how long does will this last. Placed on Nair Road in Pondy Bazaar, this cafe offers more than just fast food. The ambience is sober, although it has a huge wall for you to leave comments and feedback, which portrays that they value customer satisfaction. They add on to the bandwagon of restaurants and cafe who use the tabloid format for their menu, service was good and the food ordered was excellent.

Being a die hard bollywood fan, I quickly related to this burger that we ordered to the dialogue — “Haaay, much aunty mat bulao na (Please donʼt call me aunty). Aunty, Didi or whatever tag for that matter, this burger landed as the Shehenshah of all the burgers. With crispy potato patty, grilled pickles, chillies, and sauces I cannot name, “Donʼt call me Burger”, was the best choice of the evening. The burger was served with french fries and two different sauces.

All Day Breakfasts are saviours for the ever confused, want to have everything on the menu but donʼt have an appetite, just kill the chick. Ordered for “Masala Omelet” which was served with hash browns, toasts, and grilled tomatoes. While the omelet was perfect, hash browns were cold and the toasts were dry. Moving on to the beverage of the evening — Cold Coffee — when its topped with whipped cream, you have no reason to share. That explains my emotion with it, it was basic, not.

While Cafe Central is still running, you might want to go there and eat some really good stuff and have their coffee, not too heavy on the pocket, just the place you want to go to after a difficult exam or a long day with an annoying boss.
