Live streaming has its major issues when you are looking to publish something on the internet. There are multiple areas where you might not have planned activity and it may go live. So you need to be well prepared before going live in front of the world.

Let’s think about how live streaming can go from good to bad and worse. Suppose you are doing a live stream on Facebook or Instagram and you are presenting a product that can be beneficial for beauty and makeup. You turn your stream on, you go Live and in a few minutes, you have enough audience to start presenting the major parts of your product. This is where the stream can yield the maximum benefits and suddenly you notice that you are frozen out of the stream. You realize that due to a background program that was running on your desktop, your desktop is lagging and is spoiling your stream. This is quite a disastrous situation and you are most likely to lose most of the engagements that you had. If there were about 50k users who were tuned in to your live stream then there is a much greater chance that almost 10k of them would scroll away. This is because human beings tend to be less patient in such circumstances. So what you could do in this particular situation is to pre-plan your live stream.

There are different issues while doing a live stream. These include some technical issues such as sound quality, video quality, lighting, camera focus and other issues. Some issues related to time management can also accompany you if you don’t streamline your various activities. It is more viable that you try and keep yourself safe from such issues so that you don’t receive negative feedback from your consumer group. Some issues have been identified in this article that are the possibilities that can happen during your live stream. These include some technical, non-technical and miscellaneous issues.

Let’s have a brief look at these issues.

Failing to do Prior Checkups

There are some check-ups that are needed to be completed in order to keep them safe from any technical issues. These include the technical flaws and difficulties in the management of techniques used. Checking the equipment is necessary for a successful live stream and it is essential that you follow a proper checklist so that issues can be avoided

Audio Quality

This is one factor that can ruin your whole effort in doing the live stream. Suppose you log onto your stream and you are unable to identify the major issues in audio quality then it is likely that you may lose audience on your live stream

Internet Bandwidth

Unable to check the internet bandwidth can pause the live stream to suffer significant issues. It is essential that you verify your internet bandwidth so that you can improve your overall quality of the live stream.

Low Lighting

Proper lighting needs to be there so that your audience can see your product or your face. This is essentially true because people are quite critical of the lighting and proper exposure. You need to make sure that the lighting is bright enough to cover different angles of your camera as well

Promotions

One mistake that many live streamers do is not to properly promote their live stream prior to the time. Marketing in business channels is effective and to engage maximum audience it is essential that you promote by publishing it either on the social media or through email.
