“Today is going to be AWESOME!” A picture of creative colouring at One Team Gov Wellbeing Camp

It’s been one whole month since #OTGWellbeingCamp.

It seems like yesterday, we keep looking back at the photos we took to check it actually happened! We did a huge amount in a short space of time. We’ve been reading all of the blog posts that attendees have written and and looking at feedback.

You told us that you enjoyed the day, but there are always things we could do to make it better next time.

We believe in continuous improvement and learning from what’s gone before. So this is the first in a mini-series of blog posts which will look back at what we did and what we learned about creating a wellbeing event.

One Team Gov has made a commitment to create a safe space to continue this conversation, so we’ll be letting you know about our future plans, too.

We’re writing this post for:

  • People organising their own events
  • People wanting to organise One Team Gov wellbeing events based on ours
  • The wider One Team Gov community, we want to be open

We’re writing this so people can:

  • Find out what we did
  • Repeat elements of our events quickly and easily
  • Hold us to account

The topics we will cover are:

  • People’s thoughts and feedback about the event
  • How we planned wellbeing camp
  • What we’re going to do next

Our reflections will be as a mini-series of blogs. We’re doing this in the open, with you.

If there is anything else you’d like to know, or that you think we should do, please let us know by replying to this post or on Twitter @OneTeamGov.
