A New Online.io Update for Chrome and Firefox is Here!
We know that you’ve all been waiting for more features to arrive at the Online.io extension for quite some time. Well, the wait is over and your patience is about to be rewarded!
We are releasing an official update for the Chrome and Firefox extensions packed with many great additions. Take a look at what’s new!
1. A Better Blocking Engine
One of our key improvements is the blocking engine, which comes with new integrations that will give users more control over the content that they want and don’t want to see on the web. Here are all the new blocking features:
- Integrated uBlock Engine that will guarantee a more powerful defense against ads.
- Integrated several SCAM databases to recognize potentially fraudulent websites and protect you from them.
- Implemented blocking page navigation to bad resources.
- A toolbar with various blocking features which can be triggered by the user for a more personalized experience.
- Reporting bad content to Online.io servers and the research team, so that we can constantly update our list of malicious websites.

We are also giving you more customization options so that you have complete control of your internet protection.

- Highly-granulated panel for enabling / disabling blocking features.
- Alien user profile generator, so you can finally create your own avatar.

3. Improved User Experience for Reports
Another improvement is a more advanced list of options to report online threats and bad content for a safer browsing experience.
- Reporting by categories and sub-categories.
- Advanced grouping by domains where the threat was detected.
4. Multiple Languages Support
More users from all around the world will be able to get the Online.io Extension in their own language to feel just like home. Besides the English version, we have also added support in Romanian and Russian, with many more languages coming in the future!
