It seemed like yesterday I’d wake up early and turn on MTV to watch Cyndi Lauper’s music video for “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” I’d cavort with her in my underwear as I prepped for work. Better than exercising. Somehow it blessed my soul tonight to see a woman of my age demo win again at something new and good. I hope she wins more.
