Phone, keys, wallet…phone, keys, wallet…phone, keys, wallet…

How many times have we performed that mental checklist or tapped our pockets to make sure that we had all the metal, paper, and plastic necessary to move about our daily lives? To make payments or unlock doors or prove our identity? Right now, most of us do it just about every time we leave the house. But today, we are one step closer to walking out with just…ourselves.

The Keyo Wave+ makes it even easier to make a payment, clock into work, redeem a ticket for the bus or the big game, check in to a doctor’s appointment, and so much more — all without phones, keys, wallets, fobs, or cards.

The Keyo Wave+ hand scanner combines powerful biometric identification capabilities with a smartphone-sized screen to enable seamless implementation for any use case.

Let’s take a look at how the Keyo Wave+ is changing the game.

The Keyo Wave + is here!

The Keyo Wave+ combines our most powerful, flexible, and scalable hand scanning technology yet with a smartphone-sized screen, making it an ideal choice for anywhere a customizable user interface is required. With options for countertop or wall mount, the Keyo Wave+ is easy to integrate into any environment.

“Building a biometric hand scanner capable of scaling to billions of users is a huge milestone for us, and is critical for our large enterprise customers who need to support global footprints,” said Jaxon Klein, Co-Founder and CEO of Keyo. “I am so excited to see partners already developing innovative solutions leveraging the Keyo Wave+ and its customizable user interface for everything from processing payments to redeeming tickets at arenas to entering office complexes. The Wave+ is a game changer.”

Wave Wherever You Want

In addition to its ability to scale to billions of users, the Keyo Wave+ features unprecedented flexibility, allowing partners and customers to design and implement bespoke applications to integrate biometric authentication into their own products and services, including:

  • Office buildings and corporate campuses
  • Resorts and hotels
  • Government buildings
  • College universities
  • Hospitals and doctors’ offices
  • Stadiums and entertainment venues
  • Banking
  • Loyalty
  • Retail
  • Travel and mobility

Wave+ or Wave: What makes Keyo devices different

The Keyo Wave, launched in 2022, is considered the most powerful, accurate, and user-friendly biometric scanner on the market. Only 3 inches in diameter and packing more processing power than most laptops, the Wave is able to map and encrypt millions of unique points on your hand in milliseconds.

The Wave+ combines the power, flexibility, and scalability of the Keyo Wave with a smartphone-sized screen, allowing partners to build customizable apps that leverage biometric authentication within their own products and services.

Both the Wave and Wave+ palm scanners have the ability to compare billions of biometric records in milliseconds. That means they can scan your palm and identify you — out of any of the billions of other people in the world — in a fraction of a second.

The devices map millions of unique data points on the outside of your hand — like your palm print and fingerprints — and the inside of your hand — like palm vein structure. Including these internal data points makes your biometric virtually impossible to copy without your explicit consent. This makes it a more secure and privacy-friendly identifier than other methods, such as facial recognition. Put simply, it’s a lot harder to hide your face than the veins on the inside of your palm.

Building biometrics with the Wave+ into your business

At Keyo, we don’t believe our identities should be trapped in scraps of metal, paper, and plastic. We believe we should be enough to prove who we are and access what belongs to us. The launch of the Keyo Wave+ is one step closer to making our vision a reality.

Keyo Partners have already deployed over 15,000 Keyo devices for customers to pay at stores, check-in for doctor’s appointments, and open office doors — all with a wave of the palm.
