Will it Wave: Let’s start a car without keys!
No car keys? No problem.
Welcome back to our Will it Wave series, where we challenge a member of the Keyo integrations engineering team to use a Keyo device to automate an everyday experience.
In this edition of “Will it Wave,” we follow Bryan Riley, an Integration Engineer, as he starts his car with a wave of his hand.

Preparing for the integration
There are many remote car starters on the market, but Bryan selects the Drone Mobile car start, which is compatible with his 2021 Chevy Equinox and has two remotes plus app support. Bryan follows the package instructions with the Drone Mobile device to install the remote car start device.
Connecting Keyo and Drone Mobile
Bryan uses the following tools during the integration process:
- A Keyo Wave Device
- An Android tablet
- A Keyo Dashboard dev tools account
- Drone mobile car start

Will It Wave?
After following the integration guide, Bryan will test whether he can start his car with just a wave of his hand.
