A New Manifesto for the Music Industry

TRAX was born out the observation that smaller and medium sized artists are being mistreated by the music industry. Our manifesto for change outlines existing obstacles and provides a message of hope for up-and-coming creators:

The rise of streaming giants has had a net negative effect on the self-determination of small to medium sized artists. Creators feel compelled to offer content at increasingly diminutive rates, while fans have become disillusioned at having to support their favourite artists through corporate third parties without decent social utility (Spotify, Apple, etc.)

A purpose-built platform for artists and music lovers, TRAX delivers a curated feed of music content wrapped in a social media interface. In the style of popular membership platforms like Patreon, TRAX joins up content distribution and outreach with monetization. Users may access creators’ streaming catalogue and social media content at the same time through one individual subscription, giving artists commercial and creative control over their career in a single Web3 space.

Fans will finally have access to a litany of exclusive content not available on typical streaming/social media, including live engagement opportunities with their favourite artists.
