Welcome! In our Dev Diaries, we delve into the continuous advancements and meticulous fine-tuning of the MELDapp. Here is last week’s progress:
MELDapp Web:
- Released a large update (build 1.1.10) bringing improvements to the login page, send & receive flows, token hierarchy and more,
- Detected a need for a default NFT’s image if the source one can’t be parsed on front-end,
- Worked on removing $DRIP price as its inaccurate via CMC,
- In progress of improving USD price calculations,
- Fixed an issue with GIF not images,
- Worked on improving token and native tracking,
- Continued our work on upgrading the Cardano wallet from short to long address.
MELDapp Mobile:
- Integrated Identify Verification into the front-end,
- Fixed localisation issues,
- Addressed various UI inconsistencies and enhancements,
- Added error overlays,
- Added ‘About MELD’ page with T&C and Privacy Policy.
Application:
- Setup backfill database schema and migration script,
- Streaming fetched contract events to database,
- Implemented account balance query from subgraph,
- Implemented historical balance query from backfill,
- Added unified API to combined subgraph and backfill data,
- Added some optimizations to ERC20 subgraph schema,
- Setup back-fill worker to auto trigger back-fill jobs,
- Deployed and tested Cardano wallet upgrade on DEV environment,
- Working on adapting and fixing supply cap functionality for lending and borrowing,
- Working on NFT integration to staking,
- Resolved several issues in staking as part of the QA process,
- Knowledge transfer for MELD blockchain gasless (meta) transactions.
Infrastructure:
- Configured AWS ChatBot to send ECS task events to Slack channel,
- Upgraded Timescale DB to bigger instance,
- Upgraded testnet Polygon node to the latest stable version.
