Welcome! In our Dev Diaries, we delve into the continuous advancements and meticulous fine-tuning of the MELDapp. Here is last week’s progress:
MELDapp Web:
- Tested a new live chat support and ticket management solution on dev environment,
- Finalized development of the WalletConnect integration and started a full-spectrum QA process,
- Began comprehensive tests of the Cardano wallet upgrade from short to long address, providing a prelude to the upcoming Staking 2.0 in the MELDapp,
- Completed the UX/UI design for $MELD token bridging flow and started development,
- Reviewed our community’s feedback regarding the latest release 1.1.10 of the MELDapp (thank you!), set priorities and formed a backlog for upcoming development sprints.
MELDapp Mobile:
- Improved animations such as swiping down or showing widgets and splash screen,
- Fixed bug hiding tickers when sending Cardano native tokens,
- Added page indicators when swiping through assets,
- Fixed bug that prevented logging out,
- Fixed bug that showed an incorrect number of chains an asset was on,
- Addressed various UI inconsistencies and enhancements.
Application:
- Implemented Admin API (add, update, get) for ERC20 and Network metadata,
- Implemented API docs for tracking subgraph,
- Implemented tests for Admin API,
- Removed Messari dependencies from subgraphs,
- Deployed token subgraph on demand from backfill server,
- Replaced MeshJS with Lucid within the Meldapp frontend,
- Provided assistance for testing Meldapp, fixing issues both on a local and the dev environment,
- Evaluated the graph synchronization speed of the ERC721 token on the Ethereum mainnet,
- Implemented backfill DB schema for ERC721 tokens,
- Updated backfill operations with new database schema,
- Separated server and sync job environment construction,
- Fixed primary key of ERC20 metadata table,
- Updated balance API to use token list queried from database,
- Prepared server configurations for deployment,
- Researched on native token indexers across different EVM networks.
Infrastructure:
- Fixed staging meld.fi website for production release,
- Switched meld.fi production website to Fargate service,
- Configured new infrastructure for mainnet and testnet graph nodes,
- Upgraded Avalanche testnet nodes to the latest version,
- Deployed testnet subgraphs to new testnet graph node.
