Hello hello, it’s showtime!

Previously, we talked about the good side of playing games on Livestream here, and today we’re here to help you understand how to play Gartic Show, one of OnrizonTV’s games.

Gartic Show is our drawing and guessing game made to be played on stream. So the streamer chooses a word to draw, and the audience guesses in a fun competition.

First of all, the two main things you need to know are that you don’t have to download anything to play, and the game is available on Twitch, meaning you can use your own account.

Second, this post was made for the streamers and players; we have different sections to help both! If you are only interested in playing the game, skip to the “if you are a player” section, and if you are a streamer, keep reading!

Okay, now that we are on the same page, here’s a little tutorial for you.

IF YOU ARE A STREAMER:

  1. First, on Gartic.show, click on the pink button to sync your Twitch account.

2. Then, permit us to do a few things by clicking on Authorize:

3. After that, this is the screen you’ll see:

At this point, you can customize three things:

  • Choose between playing with the system words or creating your own (that’s a good option when you’re going to make a thematic game night, for example)
  • In how many seconds will the viewers have to guess the answer: 30, 60, or 90 seconds.
  • The number of rounds you want to play: 5 to 50 rounds.

The game is available in 17 different languages. But if you don’t find yours on the list, don’t worry! You can play in English, for example, and use the option to create your own words to enjoy with your community in your language.

4. Place your camera on the left corner of your screen:

Ps: When you don’t place your camera there, your viewers can see the word you’re drawing, so it takes away the fun.

What if I avoid showing my face on my channel or prefer only to use my voice? No problem, you can put a sticker, a photo of your choice, your channel’s logo, etc. You’re good to go as long as you cover that part of the screen!

5. Press play to start the game and have fun with your community.

You don’t need a large number of followers or many viewers to play; even if you are a beginner streamer or your community is still growing, you can still play it!

IF YOU ARE A PLAYER:

  1. Find a streamer who’s playing the game.

In case you don’t already have a favorite streamer, search for someone on the “Browse” tab on Twitch, where you can find all the categories of live streams. And we have our own category:

We also recommend you suggest a game night of Gartic Show for your favorite streamers!

2. Send your guesses about the drawing on the live-stream chat! Pretty simple.

3. So the key is to answer as fast as you can! The first person to get the answer gets the point, and their name will pop up on the screen. This way, the winners of the latest rounds appear on a little list at the top of the screen.

The score is calculated with the seconds you use to get it right inversely proportional to the remaining time of the match. For example, if the streamer chooses to give you 60 seconds to answer and you get the answer right in 15 seconds, your score will be proportional to the remaining time (in this case, 45s or 45 points).

If this is different from the game you were looking for, but you would still like to play a drawing contest with your friends, we recommend Gartic.io! In this game, you don’t need a streamer to play: on each round, a person draws while everyone else tries to guess, so the players in the room take turns showing their drawing skills!

We hope this post was helpful and you’ll be able to enjoy our game more easily. If you have any questions or suggestions, we are always open.
