‘Talken’ participated as a new staking operator for the Tokamak Network. It is a community-based one-stop service platform that enables information acquisition, storage, and simple exchange of various Crypto assets.
About Talken
Talken is the first incentivized community for token holders, accumulating important information based on collective intelligence. The community was established with a goal to promote effective token circulation which would contribute to the growth of the token economy of blockchain projects. Since the open beta launch in June last year, it has become a large community with about 40,000 cumulative members.
In addition to establishing a forum for sharing various news and opinions on blockchain projects, Talken is securing a high level of information through collective intelligence and the news update speed.
The community is also established to easily perform community-related activities such as airdrops and remittances between members using whitebox encryption-based multi-wallets.
The purpose of the partnership
Talken will contribute to monitoring chain operation, building a token economy incentive system, and the creation and operation of the chain on Tokamak Network through participation as a staking operator.
In addition, due to the nature of a community-based project, asset transactions for such as a small number of airdrops and remittances occur frequently. Layer 1 often faces practical operational difficulties with high fees for each transaction.
For this reason, Tokamak Network and Talken plan to work together for the purpose of applying a layer 2 solution to reduce transaction fees and developing joint technologies in the future.
We expect to see larger expansion in the future by the participation of a community-based operator as a partner followed by the existing validator company in our staking ecosystem. In particular, starting with the participation of Talken as a staking operator, the number of users participating in staking at Layer 2 is expected to increase and the ecosystem of the Tokamak Network will become more robust.

Talken은 토큰 홀더들을 위한 최초의 인센티브형 커뮤니티(Incentivized Community)로서, 집단지성을 기반으로 중요한 정보들을 축적하고, 이를 통해 토큰들의 효과적인 유통을 촉진하여 블록체인 프로젝트들의 토큰 이코노미 활성화에 기여하며 성장하는 것을 목표로 설립되었습니다. 지난해 6월 오픈 베타서비스 출시 이후 현재까지 누적 회원은 약 4만명에 이르는 대형 커뮤니티입니다.
각 프로젝트의 다양한 소식들을 공유하고 의견을 나누는 장을 설립했을 뿐만 아니라, 집단 지성의 수준 높은 정보량과 업데이트 속도를 확보하고 있습니다.
이와 함께 화이트박스 암호화 기반 멀티지갑을 활용한 회원간의 에어드랍, 송금 등 커뮤니티 활동과 연계된 활동을 수월하게 수행할 수 있는 기반을 갖추고 있습니다.
파트너십의 목적
톡큰은 스테이킹 오퍼레이터 참여를 통해 토카막 네트워크 상의 체인 생성 및 운영, 체인 운영 감시 및 토큰 경제 인센티브 시스템 구축에 기여하게 됩니다.
아울러 커뮤니티 기반의 프로젝트 특성상 소량의 에어드랍, 송금 등 자산거래를 위한 트랜잭션이 고빈도로 발생하기도 합니다. 트랜잭션당 높은 수수료를 부과해야하는 상황에서 레이어 1에서는 실질적인 운영의 어려움을 겪는 경우가 종종 발생하게 됩니다.
이러한 이유에서 토카막 네트워크와 톡큰은 향후 트랜잭션 수수료 절감 등을 위한 레이어 2 솔루션의 적용 및 공동 기술 개발 등을 목적으로 함께 업무를 진행해 나갈 예정입니다.
저희는 기존 밸리데이팅 전문회사의 파트너 참여에 이어, 커뮤니티 기반의 오퍼레이터가 참여함에 따라 더 큰 폭의 확장이 가능할 것으로 전망하고 있습니다. 특히 톡큰의 스테이킹 오퍼레이터 참여를 시작으로, 레이어 2에 스테이킹에 참여하는 유저가 증가하고, 이와 함께 토카막 네트워크의 생태계 역시 더욱 견고해질 것이라고 기대합니다.
