TONStarter Phase 3 Starter Guide
Hello, this is TONStarter, a decentralized launchpad platform for Layer 2 projects, developed by Tokamak Network.
Along with the launch of TONStarter’s Starter menu, we are publishing a guide on how to participate in Starter projects’ IDOs and the steps of each IDO. Before you read this guide, if you wish to participate in Starter projects’ IDOs, you need to have sTOS. If you wish to get sTOS, please first refer to [Introduction of sTOS].
If you are unfamiliar with TONStarter, please first refer to [TONStarter Beginner’s Guide].
There are a total of 5 stages in a Starter project IDO.
- Snapshot: The stage of checking sTOS holdings of users and determining their tiers
- Whitelisting for Public Round 1: The stage of sTOS holders with tiers to express their intention to participate in Public Round 1
- Public Round 1: Public Round 1: Public Round for whitelisted participants. The stage where whitelisted participants use TON to acquire DOC tokens
- Public Round 2: Public Round for everyone. The stage where participants must stake TON and use staked TON to acquire DOC tokens
- Claim: Stage of transferring DOC tokens acquired from Public Round 1 and Public Round 2 to their personal wallets
The following screenshots were taken in a test environment. Please note that these pictures may be different from the actual IDO environment.
Snapshot
Snapshot is a stage to identify if users have met the requirements to participate in Public Round 1 and to determine the users’ tier. Requirements for each Starter project’s Public Round 1 may vary. Based on this snapshot, tiers for sTOS holders are determined, and the higher the tier, the more project tokens allocated. Once the snapshot is taken, no matter how much sTOS a user has, their tier cannot be changed.
Before the snapshot is taken, if you click on the Starter menu or on this link, the project page will show up.
On the project page, users can check important information such as project info, token info, time remaining until Public Round starts, and more. If a user clicks on Tier Details, the user can check the sTOS holding requirement for Public Round 1, expected project token allocation, number of members, and number of whitelisted members.
Whitelisting for Public Round 1
Whitelisting is the process for Public Round 1 participants. It is to check which tier sTOS holders belong to and check if they wish to participate in Public Round 1 with their tier. If a user does not whitelist, they cannot participate in Public Round 1. Each tier has its own project token allocation, and the number of participants by tier determines each user’s project token allocation. Therefore, when the whitelisting period is over, project token allocation for each participant by tier is determined. Project token allocation for each participant can change until the whitelisting period is over. If a user has less sTOS than the lowest tier’s Criteria, the user cannot participate in the following project’s Public Round 1.
After the snapshot is taken and once the whitelisting period begins, Whitelist button appears as shown in the following picture.
- Click on the Whitelist button.
2. Click on the Confirm button on MetaMask.
3. Once the transaction is completed, your tier will be assigned according to the sTOS held based on the time the snapshot was taken.
Afterward, if you click on Tier Details, they can check your tier with a blue border.
Public Round 1 — For Whitelisted Users Only
Public Round 1 is when project tokens are allocated for whitelisted sTOS holders to acquire. Each tier has a different project token allocation and users can use TON to acquire as much project token allocated to the user. The higher the tier, the higher the project token allocation. Whitelisted users can use TON to acquire DOC tokens in Public Round 1. The number of acquisitions is not limited, but it is impossible to acquire more project tokens than the user’s allocation.
Once Public Round 1 begins, Approve button appears as shown in the following picture.
- Choose either to use TON or WTON for the IDO by clicking on the toggle button. (The default setting is TON.)
2. Click on the Approve button or enter the amount of TON you wish to approve for use in the input box and click on the Approve button.
3. Once the above pop-up shows up, click on either of two buttons. If you wish to approve the use of all TON tokens in your wallet, click on the Approve All button. If you only approve the use of entered TON amount, click on the button below. (If you click on the button below, you must go through the Approve process again if you have used all of the approved TON.)
4. Click on the Confirm button on MetaMask.
5. Once the transaction is completed, Acquire button appears. Enter the amount of TON you wish to use in the input box or click on the MAX button. (The project token gets rounded up on the third decimal point, a small amount of project token may be transferred to Public Round 2. [May differ depending on the tier.])
6. Click on the Acquire button.
7. Click on the Confirm button on MetaMask.
8. Once the transaction is completed, you have successfully acquired project tokens from Public Round 1. The user can check their project token in the Public Round 1 section. If the user acquired fewer tokens than their allocation at this stage, the user can use TON to acquire more tokens up to their token allocation.
The remaining projects tokens from Public Round 1 will be added to Public Round 2 allocation.
Public Round 2 — For All Users
After Public Round 1, Public Round 2 begins. Among the project tokens allocated to Public Round 1, the remaining tokens are added to Public Round 2 allocation. Public Round 2 is a stage where anyone can participate, but users who do not stake TON cannot participate in Round 2. Participants will use their staked TON to acquire DOC tokens. Participants’ project token allocation is determined by the ratio of the total amount deposited to the amount deposited by the participant during the deposit period.
On the following page, a user can check the Public Round 2 period, total staked amount, the user’s staked amount, project token allocation, user’s project token allocation. Along with them, Approve button appears.
- Choose either to use TON or WTON for the IDO by clicking on the toggle button. (The default setting is TON.)
2. Click on the Approve button or enter the amount of TON you wish to approve for use for Public Round 2 in the input box and click on the Approve button.
3. Once the above pop-up shows up, click on either of two buttons. If you wish to approve the use of all TON tokens in your wallet, click on the Approve All button. If you only approve the use of entered TON amount, click on the button below. (If you click on the button below, you must go through the Approve process again if you have used all of the approved TON.)
4. Click on the Confirm button on MetaMask.
5. Once the transaction is completed, Deposit button appears.
6. Enter the amount of TON you wish to deposit in the input box or click on the MAX button.
7. Click on the Deposit button.
8. Click on the Confirm button on MetaMask.
9. Once the transaction is completed, you have successfully deposited TON for Public Round 2.
Claim
Once Public Round 2 is over, users who participated in Public Round 1 and/or Public Round 2 can claim their project tokens according to the claim schedule and transfer project tokens to their personal wallets. The claim period and schedule may vary for each project. On each claim period, users can claim through the Claim button on the Starter menu’s project page. Users can also check their project tokens, the number of claims, and the remaining project tokens.
- Click on the Claim button.
2. Click on the Confirm button on MetaMask.
3. Once the transaction is completed, your project tokens will be sent to your personal wallet. In addition, TON that wasn’t used for Public Round 2 will be returned along with your project tokens.
4. Click on the MetaMask Button.
5. Click on the Import Tokens button.
6. You can now see the project token in your wallet.

톤스타터의 Starter 메뉴의 론칭과 함께 스타터 프로젝트의 참여 방법과 각 단계에 대한 설명을 담은 유저 가이드를 공개합니다. 해당 가이드를 읽기 전에 모든 스타터 프로젝트들의 퍼블릭 라운드 1의 참가를 하려면 sTOS가 필요로 합니다. sTOS를 획득하시고 싶으신 분들은 먼저 [Introduction of sTOS] 가이드를 참고 부탁드립니다.

스타터 프로젝트 IDO는 총 5단계로 이뤄져 진행됩니다.
- 스냅샷 (Snapshot) : sTOS 보유량을 확인한 후 티어를 부여하는 단계
- 화이트리스팅 (Whitelisting) : 티어를 부여받은 sTOS 홀더들이 퍼블릭 라운드 1에 참가 의사를 밝히는 단계
- 퍼블릭 라운드 1 (Public Round 1) : 화이트리스팅한 유저들을 위한 라운드. 티어가 높을수록 할당량이 높아지며 TON을 사용해서 DOC 토큰을 획득하는 단계
- 퍼블릭 라운드 2 (Public Round 2) : 누구나 참여할 수 있는 라운드. TON을 스테이킹 해야 하며 스테이킹 물량을 사용해서 DOC 토큰을 획득하는 단계
- 클레임 (Claim) : 퍼블릭 라운드 1, 퍼블릭 라운드 2 에서 획득한 DOC 토큰을 개인 지갑으로 옮기는 단계
해당 사진들은 테스트 환경에서 찍은 사진입니다. 실제 IDO 환경과 다를 수 있으니 참고 바랍니다.
Snapshot
스냅샷은 퍼블릭 라운드 1 진행 전에 유저가 참여 조건 여부를 확인하고 유저의 티어를 구분하기 위해 진행하는 단계입니다. 스타터 프로젝트들의 퍼블릭 라운드 1의 참여 조건은 sTOS 보유량이며 프로젝트마다 조건이 다를 수 있습니다. 이 스냅샷을 기준으로 라운드 1에 참가하는 sTOS 홀더들의 티어가 결정되며 티어가 높을수록 유저에게 할당되는 프로젝트 토큰 양도 많아집니다. 스냅샷 이후 아무리 많은 sTOS를 보유한다 해도 해당 프로젝트에서 티어를 변경할 수 없습니다.
스냅샷이 찍히기 전에 Starter 메뉴에 클릭하거나 이 링크를 클릭하시면 아래와 같이 프로젝트 페이지가 나옵니다.
이 프로젝트 페이지에서, 프로젝트 정보, 토큰 정보, 퍼블릭 라운드 시작까지 잔여 시간 등 주요 정보들을 확인할 수 있습니다. Tier Details를 클릭하면 퍼블릭 라운드 1에 필요한 sTOS 보유량, 예상 프로젝트 토큰 할당량, 각 티어의 풀 할당량, 참여할 수 있는 유저 수, 화이트리스팅된 참여자에 관한 정보를 확인할 수 있습니다.
Whitelisting for Public Round 1
화이트리스팅은 퍼블릭 라운드 1 참가자를 위한 절차입니다. sTOS홀더 본인이 어느 티어에 속해 있는지를 확인하고, 해당 티어로 퍼블릭 라운드 1에 참가하겠다는 의사를 밝히는 절차입니다. 화이트리스팅을 하지않으면 퍼블릭 라운드 1에 참가는 불가능합니다. 티어별 할당량이 정해져 있으므로 티어별 참여자의 수에 따라 개인이 획득할 수 있는 한도가 결정되는 구조입니다. 따라서, 화이트리스팅 기간이 종료될 때, 각 티어 마다 각 참여자에게 프로젝트 토큰 할당량이 정해집니다. 화이트리스팅 기간이 종료되기 전까지는 티어 참여자별 할당 물량은 변경될 수 있습니다. 만약 가장 낮은 티어의 Criteria(필요 보유량)보다 sTOS가 적을 경우, 해당 프로젝트의 퍼블릭 라운드 1 참여는 불가능합니다.
스냅샷 이후에는 퍼블릭 라운드 1이 시작하며 다음 사진과 같이 Whitelist Me 버튼이 생성됩니다.
- Whitelist Me 버튼을 클릭합니다.
2. MetaMask에서 확인 버튼을 클릭합니다.
3. 트랜잭션이 완료되면 스냅샷이 찍힌 당시 보유한 sTOS에 따라 Tier가 부여됩니다.
이후 Tier Details를 클릭하면 파란색 테두리가 씌워진 자신의 티어를 확인 할 수 있습니다.
Public Round 1 — For Whitelisted Users Only
퍼블릭 라운드 1은 화이트리스팅한 sTOS 홀더들이 프로젝트 토큰을 획득하는 기간입니다. 티어마다 할당량이 다르며 화이트리스팅한 유저는 TON을 사용해서 프로젝트 토큰을 획득할 수 있습니다. 티어가 높을수록 획득 할당량은 많아집니다. 획득 횟수는 제한되지 않으나 획득 할당량 이상 획득는 불가능합니다.
퍼블릭 라운드 1가 시작하면 다음 사진과 같이 획득 할당량과 Approve 버튼이 생성됩니다.
- 토클 버튼을 클릭해서 TON 혹은 WTON을 사용할지 선택합니다. (기본 설정은 TON 입니다.)
2. Approve 버튼을 클릭하시거나 입력란에 퍼블릭 라운드 1에 사용 허용할 TON 수량을 입력하고 Approve 버튼을 클릭합니다.
3. 해당 팝업이 나오면 두 가지 버튼이 생성됩니다. 개인 지갑에 있는 모든 TON의 사용에 허용할 거면 Approve All 버튼을 클릭합니다. 입력값만 허용할 거면 밑 버튼을 클릭합니다. (밑 버튼을 클릭 시 입력한 허용값보다 더 사용하려면 Approve 절차 반복해야 합니다.)
4. MetaMask에서 확인 버튼을 클릭합니다.
5. 트랜잭션이 완료되면 Acquire 버튼이 생성되며 입력란에 원하는 TON 수량 혹은 MAX 버튼을 사용해서 획득에 사용할 TON을 입력합니다. (소수점 셋째자리 기준으로 반올림을 하여, 소량의 DOC이 퍼블릭라운드 2로 이전될 수 있습니다.[티어에 따라 상이할 수 있습니다.])
6. Acquire 버튼을 클릭합니다.
7. MetaMask에서 확인 버튼을 클릭합니다.
8. 트랜잭션이 완료되면 퍼블릭 라운드 1에서 성공적으로 프로젝트 토큰을 획득하셨습니다. 획득한 프로젝트 토큰은 Public Round 1 항목에서 확인할 수 있습니다. 이 단계에서 자신의 획득 할당량보다 적게 획득하셨다면, TON을 사용해서 할당량만큼 추가 획득할 수 있습니다.
퍼블릭 라운드 1에서 할당된 프로젝트 토큰 중 남은 토큰은 라운드 2 할당량에 추가됩니다.
Public Round 2 — For All Users
퍼블릭 라운드 1이 종료되면 퍼블릭 라운드 2가 시작됩니다. 퍼블릭 라운드 1에서 할당된 프로젝트 토큰 중 남은 토큰은 라운드 2 할당량에 추가되어 라운드 2가 시작됩니다. 퍼블릭 라운드 2는 누구나 참여 가능한 단계입니다. TON을 예치하고 않은 유저는 라운드 2에 참가를 할 수 없습니다. 예치한 TON을 사용해서 프로젝트 토큰을 획득합니다. 예치 기간 동안 전체 예치된 물량과 참가자가 예치한 물량의 비율로 참여자가 획득 할당량이 결정됩니다.
해당 페이지에서 기간, 총 예치량, 나의 예치량, 총 프로젝트 토큰 양, 나의 획득 할당량을 확인할 수 있습니다. 또한 페이지에 Approve 버튼이 생성됩니다.
- 토클 버튼을 클릭해서 TON 혹은 WTON을 사용할지 선택합니다. (기본 설정은 TON 입니다.)

6. 입력란에 원하는 TON 수량 혹은 MAX 버튼을 사용해서 예치하고 싶은 TON을 입력합니다.
7. Deposit 버튼을 클릭합니다.
8. MetaMask에서 확인 버튼을 클릭합니다.
9. 트랜잭션이 완료되면 퍼블릭 라운드 2에 성공적으로 예치했으며 프로젝트 토큰을 획득했습니다.
Claim
퍼블릭 라운드 2 기간이 종료되면, 퍼블릭 라운드 1 및/혹은 퍼블릭 라운드 2에 참여한 유저들이 획득한 프로젝트 토큰을 클레임 스케쥴에 따라 클레임 하고 개인 지갑에 전송할 수 있습니다. 프로젝트마다 클레임 기간, 일정은 다를 수 있습니다. 프로젝트 페이지에서 클레임 버튼을 통해 프로젝트 토큰을 각 회차에 클레임할 수 있습니다. 또한 해당 페이지에서 자신이 클레임 할 수 있는 토큰 양, 클레임 한 횟수, 남은 토큰 양을 확인할 수 있습니다.
- Claim 버튼을 클릭합니다.
2. MetaMask에서 확인 버튼을 클릭합니다.
3. 트랜잭션이 완료되면 클레임을 통해 성공적 프로젝트 토큰을 개인 지갑으로 전송됩니다. 또한 퍼블릭 라운드 2 예치했으나 사용되지 않은 TON은 프로젝트 토큰과 함께 반환됩니다
4. MetaMask 토큰 추가 버튼을 클릭합니다.
5. 토큰 추가 버튼을 클릭합니다.
6. 이제 개인지갑에서 프로젝트 토큰을 확인할 수 있습니다.
